2. Overview of data processing

This website provides information about the WASP project course. It has no registration form, user accounts, database or analytics tools. Fonts, partner logos, styles and scripts are served locally with the website.

3. Hosting and server access data

This website is hosted through the School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) at the Technical University of Munich, Arcisstraße 21, 80333 Munich, Germany.

To deliver the requested pages, the hosting infrastructure temporarily processes technically necessary connection information, including your IP address and the requested resource. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in delivering a functioning and reliable information website.

According to the hosting information provided by the website operator, no server access logs are retained. Connection data is processed only as necessary to deliver the request and is not stored by this website for subsequent analysis. There are no visitor profiles or tracking records.

4. Contact by email

If you use the email link, your email application opens. No message is submitted through this website. The recipient processes the information you send, including your email address, any name you provide and the content of your enquiry, to respond to you and handle follow-up questions.

Email correspondence is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where an enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies instead. Email correspondence is handled through the TUM email infrastructure and is retained only as long as necessary to resolve the enquiry and any follow-up questions, or as required by statutory retention obligations. It is then deleted.

5. Cookies and device storage

The website’s own code does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. It does not include analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Partner and university websites, including LinkedIn, are included as ordinary links. Partner logos are stored locally; they are not loaded from partner servers. Opening an external link takes you to the relevant provider’s website, where that provider’s privacy policy applies.

7. Connection security

When accessing this website via HTTPS, the connection between your browser and the hosting server is encrypted.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions under the GDPR, you may have the following rights:

• Access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR).
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
• Erasure of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR).
